It Doesn’t Take Much

by Ms. Esthetician on March 24, 2011

With everyone tightening their belts and bracing themselves for the worst.  “Luxury” services have taken a hit, but here is my guide to staying beautiful in today’s economy…I am  keeping you smooth and hair free.

1.WAXING
Thousands of dollars less expensive than laser hair removal, and less time consuming than daily shaving.  Waxing is an excellent alternative method of hair removal.  It leaves your skin smooth and hair free for weeks. As urban tales of the euphoria experienced by devout bikini/body waxers continues to dominate national headlines.  Investing in yourself RIGHT NOW is important as it helps boost your self confidence.  It does so by eliminating one less thing you dislike about yourself.  Body Waxing will give you a smooth start, in today’s economy.

2. WHAT THE PLUCK?
Get your hands on two pair of Tweezerman tweezers.  They are my all time favorite  for two reasons:
1. They are an awesome product.
2. They come with a lifetime warranty.
You can send in your dull tweezers to be sharpened, and you’ve got a second pair on standby to tweeze away those stray hairs.

3. SUGAR SCRUBS & CREME
Sugar scrubs are highly under-rated products that are a quick fix to having skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom.  They exfoliate dead skin cells while leaving your skin smooth and hydrated.  In my opinion Bella Lucce’ crushes the competition with their succulent hand-made high-end all natural scrubs.  You can finish off your treatment with a body creme that is the perfect compliment to your scrub of choice.

Thank you for the information on sugar scrubs! I have always been intrigued by sugar scrubs but wasn’t sure just how useful they would be. I am happy that I can now use them with peace of mind. I liked the idea of a natural exfoliant like sugar so I am glad to hear they are good products.

Also thanks for the tip on tweezerman tweezers. I just use my regular old revlon or generic tweezers. Tweezermans are very aesthetically pleasing but I had no idea they had the economical benefit of a lifetime warranty! I am making the switch today! I would love to see a blog about proper eyebrow grooming in-between waxing or threading sessions. I am always worried I will pluck too many hairs and end up with sparse eyebrows!

I read some great information on skin care that follows up your article nicely. Between the two, I am ready to take the hot summer sun by storm! If you are interested, there is great summer skin care and anti-aging information at http://www.bocafacialfitness.com. Thanks again for your great blog!
